Rajeev Dhawan is Featured Speaker on Economic Forecast
ATLANTA, GEORGIA (January 15, 2019) – First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS) kicked off the new year on Thursday, January 10th by inviting principal broker members to “First Look 2019” at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead. The featured speaker was Rajeev Dhawan, the Director of the Economic Forecasting Center at the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. His informative presentation included local, state and national statistics plus a forecast for 2019. The event was followed by a grand reception giving the attendees an opportunity to interact with FMLS staff, vendors and FMLS members.
FMLS recently announced that Cantey Davis, who has served as President for 18 years, would be retiring next month. Jeremy Crawford a seasoned MLS and technology executive was announced as the new President and Chief Executive Officer. Jeremy began his career with Marketlinx Solutions, now known as CoreLogic. He served as CIO for Sandicor, COO for MLSListings and was most recently Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO). Jeremy is a CMLX Level 2 Certified Executive of the Council of MLS’s. He will also be joining the FMLS Board of Directors. Jeremy Crawford starts officially on February 11, 2019.
